PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in vivo potential measuring instrument capable of evaluating a contact state in real time, in which an insulating member in which an electrode is arranged is inserted into an organ of a living body, and an outer peripheral surface of the insulating member is in contact with an internal wall surface of the organ.SOLUTION: In a state in which an insulating member 20 in which an electrode 10 is arranged is inserted into an organ of a living body, and an outer peripheral surface of the insulating member 20 is in contact with an internal wall surface of the organ 70, a potential of a site in contact is detected with the electrode.
