The invention relates to a bottle (1), in particular a baby's bottlecomprising a bottle jacket (2) that is open at both ends. A base cap (8) thatis equipped with an air intake valve (13) is fixed in one base end region (4)of said jacket (2) and a teat (9) is fixed in the opposite teat end region.The teat comprises a shaft (21) and a nipple (23) connected to said shaft bymeans of a lip contact region (22). According to the invention, the bottlejacket (2) has an essentially conical form that widens from its teat endregion to its base end region (4) and the wall thickness of the shaft (21) ofthe teat (9) is greater than the wall thickness of the teat (9) in the lipcontact region (22) and of the nipple (23). The invention also relates to amethod for producing the bottle jacket (2) that is open at both ends, in whichthe bottle jacket (2) is injection-moulded from a polyolefin, in particularpolypropylene.
