An intrastromal corneal implant (2) comprising a circular annulus (6) formed of a printed PVDF film configured to receive printing. The annulus having a radially cut (4); the periphery of the central hole corresponds to a multilobed line (6a,6b,6c). These features permit to adapt the implant to the cornea. The annulus has microholes (10), notches (12), incisions or discontinuities allowing the passage of metabolites, substances, cells or portions thereof. The annulus has four holes (14) for receiving four pins formed on a plate of an insert holder. The intrastromal corneal implant is adapted in the space of the corneal stroma to change the eye color and/or to solve the problem of insufficient pigmentation of the iris. The method and the related means to change, permanently and reversibly, the eye color for aesthetic purposes are described as well.
