PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus having a lamination structure with a wavelength conversion layer on a photoelectric transducer, capable of suppressing reduction of the light absorption coefficient and radiation imaging display system.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging apparatus 1 is provided with a scintillator layer 114 on a pixel portion 12 including a photodiode 111A. In a lamination structure in the vicinity of the interface between the photodiode 111A and the scintillator layer 114, a low refractive index layer 129 is disposed between an n-type semiconductor layer 125 and the scintillator layer 114, having a refractive index lower than those of the layers. Consequently, light interference is easily produced, so that the light absorption coefficient changes depending on the film thickness of the low refractive index layer and has a maximal value.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】光電変換素子上に波長変換層が設けられた積層構造において、光吸収率の低減を抑制することが可能な放射線撮像装置および放射線撮像表示システムを提供する。【解決手段】放射線撮像装置1は、フォトダイオード111Aを含む画素部12上にシンチレータ層114を備えたものであり、これらフォトダイオード111Aとシンチレータ層114との界面付近の積層構造において、n型半導体層125とシンチレータ層114との間に、これら層よりも屈折率の低い低屈折率層129が設けられている。光の干渉が生じ易くなり、光吸収率が低屈折率層の膜厚に依存して変化し、極大値をもつようになる。【選択図】図6
