CONSTITUTION: A composition for prevention and treatment of acute pancreatitis includes Estern prickly pear extract as an active ingredient. The extract is extracted by using stems of Estern prickly pear. The solvent for the extraction of the extract is ethanol. Daily dose of the extract is 0.0001 to 500 mg/kg.
