This invention relates to a saliva image identification method used for predicting female ovulation period, comprising an image obtaining step, an image optimizing step, an image binarization step, and a configuration identification step, capable of simply, fast, safely, and accurately detecting and analyzing the saliva image of a female automatically and automatically determining the female being under one of periods of non-ovulation, possible ovulation, and ovulation from the saliva image.
