Die Erfindung betrifft einen Polyurethanharnstoff, der Struktureinheiten der Formel (I) aufweist, nicht mit wenigstens einer Copolymereinheit aus Polyethylenoxid und Polypropylenoxid terminiert ist und insbesondere zur Herstellung von Stentbeschichtungen eingesetzt werden kann. Ein weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Substrat mit einer Grundbeschichtung aus einem erfindungsgemäßen Polyurethanharnstoff. Ebenfalls Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Schichtaufbau umfassend wenigstens eine wirkstoffhaltige Schicht aus einem erfindungsgemäßen Polyurethanharnstoff und wenigstens eine wirkstofffreie Schicht aus einem erfindungsgemäßen Polyurethanharnstoff.
