The present invention relates to an antiperspirant composition for the local treatment of the skin, comprising tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane or salts thereof in an aqueous or hydroalcoholic support, the antiperspirant composition having a pH ranging from 3 to less than 7. The invention further relates to the use of tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane or salts thereof as an antiperspirant active substance (s) in an antiperspirant composition for the local treatment of the skin. La présente invention concerne une composition antitranspirante pour le traitement local de la peau, comprenant du tris(hydroxyméthyl)aminométhane ou des sels de celui-ci dans un support aqueux ou hydroalcoolique, la composition antitranspirante présentant un pH situé dans la plage allant de 3 à moins de 7.
