The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring the electrical activity of a heart that is worn on a users body part. The device is configured to fit into the body part and includes a strap having an inner surface in contact with the body part when worn by the user and an outer surface facing away from the body part. The apparatus also includes a first sensor disposed on the inner surface. The first sensor is configured to contact the body part. The apparatus also includes a class sensor having a second sensor electrically insulated from the first sensor.
