The present invention addresses the problem of finding out a natural ingredient that can remove nitrogen oxide and sulfur oxide easily and efficiently, and providing a remover for harmful oxide and a removal method for harmful oxide using the same. The remover for harmful oxide contains one kind or two kinds of compounds selected from the group consisting of ß-phellandrene and ocimene as an active component, and harmful oxide in the atmosphere can be removed by bringing the remover into contact with the atmosphere containing the harmful oxide.
