The present invention provides a self micro emulsifying composition with increased efficacy by enhanced oral bioavailability of anticancer agent comprising a lipophilic phase containing oil carrier, surfactant, co-surfactant and anticancer agent wherein: - the lipophilic carrier comprising of oil, - the ratio of surfactant to co-surfactant may range between 1 : 1 to 5: 1, - the ratio of oil and surfactant mix may be ranging from 1 :9 to 9: 1, - the cloud point ranges from 59 to 63 OC. - the droplet size vary from 20 to 480 nm.
