An underpants-type absorbent article in which a stomach-side part and a back-side part are joined together at respective transverse outside end parts thereof in a state in which an absorbent article having the stomach-side part disposed on a stomach side of a wearer during wear, the back-side part disposed on a back side of the wearer during wear, and a crotch part disposed between the legs of the wearer during wear is folded in two along the crotch part so that the stomach-side part and the backs-side part overlap, whereby a waist opening and a pair of leg openings are formed at mutually different positions in a longitudinal direction intersecting with the transverse direction. A plurality of joining parts are formed on the basis of a joining pattern non-continuous in at least the longitudinal direction. The end parts have an inside region positioned on the inside in the transverse direction and an outside region positioned on the outside in the transverse direction relative to the inside region. The joining parts are formed in a predetermined range in the longitudinal direction of the end parts where the waist opening begins, so that the size in the longitudinal direction of an interval between joining parts adjacent in the longitudinal direction in the inside region is greater than the size in the longitudinal direction of an interval between jointing parts adjacent in the longitudinal direction in the outside region.
