Erfindungsgemäß wird eine Vorrichtung zur Modifizierung eines Endoskops bereitgestellt. Die Vorrichtung ist aus einer länglichen Kappe, einer Stoßeinheit und einem Deckel zusammengesetzt, wobei der Deckel fest mit dem proximalen Ende der länglichen Kappe verbunden ist und die Stoßeinheit drehbar innerhalb der länglichen Kappe angeordnet ist. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung kann auf ein herkömmliches Endoskop, insbesondere ein Einkanal-Endoskop, aufgesetzt werden, wobei mit dem dergestalt modifizierten Endoskop ein tangentiales Nähen von transluminalen Wunden möglich wird. Die Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung in der gastrointestinalen Endoskopie und in der Vernähung einer transluminalen Wunde wird vorgeschlagen. Ferner wird ein Verfahren zur Vernähung einer transluminalen Wunde mit dem erfindungsgemäß modifizierten Endoskop vorgestellt.The invention relates to a device for modifying an endoscope.
