PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system which is the system where an adapter is freely removable at the distal end and a channel communication part is arranged, and which has a configuration to secure the sealing property of the communication part and also to easily exchange sealing members.
SOLUTION: The endoscope system includes: a projection 19t which is projectingly formed from the distal end surface 19s of the distal end part 15 toward the distal end side, so as to position the adapter 55 with respect to the distal end part 15 an O ring 20 fitted to an outer periphery at the rear end side of the projection 19t a channel 18 arranged inside an insertion part 25 a recession 58h recessed from the rear end surface 58s of the adapter 55 toward the distal end side a pressurizing member 58p which is projectingly formed from the outer periphery of the recession 58h toward the rear end side, so as to pressurize the O ring 20 when the adapter 55 is mounted on the distal end part 15 and a channel 57 which is arranged inside the adapter 55 so as to communicate with the channel 18 when the adapter 55 is mounted on the distal end part 15.
