The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a transdermally absorptive composition having improved basic drug skin penetration properties and a transdermal absorption accelerator for a basic drug. The purpose can be achieved by a transdermally absorptive composition comprising a basic drug or a salt thereof and sorbic acid and/or a sorbic acid metal salt. It is preferred that the content of the sorbic acid component is 0.5 to 2.5 moles relative to 1 mole of the basic drug. It is also preferred that the composition according to the present invention additionally contains an organic basic compound and/or an inorganic basic component.
