The present invention relates to a process for preparing cannabidiol isolates from industrial hemp. With the process an economically feasible manner is provided of putting industrial hemp waste material to use as a starting material for producing CBD. The present process offers the advantage that it produces a high purity CBD extract in good yield. The method further offers the advantage that it is highly reproducible in that it produces CBD isolate with a specific cannabinoid profile, which is particularly important for pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic applications. The invention thus also relates to the cannabidiol isolates that can be obtained using the process and to applications thereof in pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic formulations.La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'isolats de cannabidiol à partir de chanvre industriel. Grâce au procédé, l'invention propose une façon économiquement réalisable d'utiliser les déchets du chanvre industriel comme matériel de départ pour produire du CBD. Le présent procédé offre l'avantage de permettre l'obtention d'un extrait de CBD de grande pureté avec un bon rendement. Le procédé offre en outre l'avantage d'être hautement reproductible en ce qu'il produit un isolat de CBD possédant un profil spécifique en cannabinoïdes, ce qui est particulièrement important pour des applications pharmaceutiques et/ou cosmétiques. L'invention concerne également des isolats de cannabidiol qui peuvent être obtenus à l'aide du procédé et à leurs applications dans des formulations pharmaceutiques et/ou cosmétiques.
