The present invention relates to novel microalgae and to a use thereof, and more particularly, to Etlia sp. YC001(KCTC 12109BP) having superior carbon dioxide fixation ability, lipid producing ability and carotenoid producing ability. The present invention also relates to a use of the novel microalgae. The strain of the present invention enables content of lipid and composition of fatty acid to be controlled according to a cultivation condition and/or cultivation period, and enables production of high quality biofuel. A large amount of carotenoid, pigment and the like can be accumulated in cells, thereby enabling high industrial availability in cosmetics, health food, drug, etc.La présente invention a trait à une nouvelle microalgue et à son utilisation, et plus particulièrement à Etlia sp. YC001 (KCTC 12109 BP) qui se caractérise par une excellente capacité de fixation du dioxyde de carbone, de production de lipides et de production de caroténoïdes. La présente invention concerne également une utilisation de la nouvelle microalgue. La souche de la présente invention permet la régulation du contenu lipidique et la composition d'acide gras en fonction d'une condition de culture et/ou d'une période de culture, et permet la production de biocarburant de haute qualité. Une grande quantité de caroténoïdes, de pigments et d'éléments similaires peut s'accumuler dans les cellules, permettant ainsi de nombreuses applications dans l'industrie des produits cosmétiques, des aliments naturels, des médicaments, etc.본 발명은 신규한 미세조류주 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 높은 이산화탄소 고정능과 지질 생산능, 그리고 카로테노이드 물질 생산능을 가진 에틀리아 속 YC001(KCTC 12109BP) 및 이의 용도에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 균주는 배양 조건 및/또는 배양 기간에 따라 지질함량과 지방산 조성의 조절이 가능하여 양질의 바이오연료의 생산이 가능하며, 카로테노이드 및 색소 등이 다량으로 세포 내에 축적됨으로써 화장품, 건강식품, 의약품 등의 산업적 이용가능성이 높다.
