The present invention relates to a foldable fishing support for a fishing rod which supports a fishing rod and which includes a body first and second supports mounted on the front and rear end portions of the body and a fixing member which prevents the fishing rod supported by the first and second supporters from being arbitrarily separated. The fixing member includes a locking groove formed on the second support and a locking protrusion which is mounted on the fishing rod and selectively inserted into the locking groove. Therefore, the arbitrary separation of the fishing rod supported by the fishing support by the locking groove formed on the second support and the locking protrusion mounted on the fishing rod is prevented.
