The present invention is to provide a portable blood pressure measuring unit which can be always worn on a wrist of a user so that the user can conveniently measure the blood pressure. The portable blood pressure measuring unit has no additional cuff or pump so that the portable blood pressure measuring unit has a significant and simple structure and can accurately measure the blood pressure. The measured value is transmitted in wireless communications, so that the blood pressure can be efficiently managed. To this end, the present invention discloses a wrist-mount blood pressure monitor that can be always worn on the wrist of an examinee. The wrist-mount blood pressure monitor includes: a blood pressure gauge body including a blood pressure display unit to display the blood pressure of the examinee； a band around the wrist so that the blood pressure display unit is worn on the wrist of the user； a sealing-type air chamber provided in a band part to pressurize a portion of the wrist through which a radial artery passes to have air filled therein and to prevent the air from arbitrarily being discharged or additionally being injected； a pressure sensor attached to the wrist by the band in order to measure the blood pressure from the radial artery when the sealing-type air chamber is pressed； and a clock worn on the wrist by the band.본 발명은 손목에 상시 착용하여 편리하게 혈압을 측정할 수 있으며, 별도의 커프나 펌프 등의 구성이 없어서 구조적으로 매우 단순하면서도 정확한 측정이 가능하며, 측정된 값을 무선통신으로 전송하여 혈압의 효율적 관리에 활용할 수 있는 휴대용 혈압 측정 장치를 제공하기 위한 것이다.이를 위해 본 발명은, 피검자의 손목에 항시 착용가능한 손목시계형 혈압계를 개시한다. 상기 손목시계형 혈압계는: 측정된 피검자의 혈압을 표시하는 혈압 표시부를 포함하는 혈압계 본체와； 상기 혈압 표시부가 손목에 착용되도록 상기 손목을 두르는 밴드와； 상기 손목에서 요골동맥이 지나는 부위를 가압할 수 있도록 상기 밴드에 구비되어서 내부에 충진된 공기를 수용하며, 상기 공기의 인위적 배출이나 추가 주입이 방지되는 밀봉형 에어챔버와； 상기 밀봉형 에어챔버의 가압시에 상기 요골동맥으로부터 혈압을 측정하기 위해 상기 밴드에 의해 손목에 피착되는 압력센서와； 상기 밴드에 의해 손목에 착용되는 시계를 포함하여 구성된다.
