The present invention relates to a method and application of single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) to accurately and quickly evaluate the renal toxicity of an anticancer agent. The glomerular filtration rate (GFR), or renal function, was measured by single photon emission computed tomography with Technetium 99m ( 99m Tc) diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) and used to determine the toxicity and extent of the drug. It is used as a technique that provides important clues in determining whether to develop a candidate substance with anticancer function. The present invention is a new method for evaluating renal toxicity as 1) the establishment of an experimental method to measure the kidney function by taking a SPECT image of the body kidney site, 2) when it is necessary to measure the kidney function in more detail of 99m Tc-DTPA Content is used to secure absolute fluctuations of glomerular filtration, and 3) to measure the degree of change of glomerular filtration by measuring the positional shift of the central image, and to evaluate the rate of change of glomerular filtration. And 4) establish a method to effectively determine whether or not to develop a candidate drug for cancer by judging the presence and extent of nephrotoxicity of drugs that are common in the development of new drugs related to cancer drugs by pharmaceutical companies. Improvements can also be used for evaluation.본 발명은 항암제의 신장독성을 정확하고 신속히 평가하기 위한 단일광자방출전산화단층촬영(single photon emission computed tomography, SPECT)의 적용 방법 및 그 활용에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 항암물질에 의해 변화되는 신장 사구체여과율 (Glomerular filtration rate: GFR), 즉 신장기능을 Technetium 99m (99mTc) diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA)를 적용한 단일광자방출전산화단층촬영을 통하여 측정하고 이를 이용하여 관련 약물의 독성유무 및 정도를 판정하여 항암 기능을 가진 후보물질의 개발진행 여부의 결정에 중요한 단서를 제공하는 기법으로 활용하는 것이다.본 발명은 신장독성을 평가하는 새로운 방법으로서는 1) 신체 신장부위의 SPECT영상을 촬영하여 신장기능을 측정하는 실험법의 확립, 2) 신장기능을 보다 상세하게 측정할 필요가 있는 경우 99mTc-DTPA의 함량을 이용하여 사구체여과의 절대치의 변동을 확보하고, 3) 중심 이미지의 위치 이동 등을 측정하여 사구체여과의 변화의 정도를 가늠하여
