The invention is directed to 5-amino-3-(3’-deoxy-β-D-ribofuranosyl)-thiazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidin-2,7-dione prodrugs, whose metabolized parent compound has immunomodulatory activity. The invention also relates to the therapeutie use of such prodrugs and pharmaceutical compositions thereof in treating disease states associated with abnormal cell growth, such as cancer.本發明係有關5-胺基-3-(3’-去氧-β-D-核糖呋喃糖基)-噻唑并[4,5-d]嘧啶-2,7-二酮前藥,其經代謝之母化合物具有免疫調節活性。本發明亦有關此等前藥及其醫藥組成物處理與異常細胞生長相關的疾病狀況(例如癌症)之治療用途。
