The present invention relates to a reduction-responsive liposome and a production method thereof. The reduction-responsive liposome of the present invention includes hydrophobic disulfide loaded on a liposome bilayer membrane, and polarity of a sulfur compound changes as the hydrophobic disulfide inserted into the liposome bilayer membrane is reduced into a thiol compound when facing a reducing environment. As a result, the liposome membrane is moved due to a variation in the orientation of the sulfur compound in the liposome membrane, thereby promoting the release of the loaded contents.본 발명은 환원 응답성 리포솜 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 환원 응답성 리포솜(reduction-responsive liposome)은 리포솜 이중층 막에 소수성 이황화물이 탑재되어, 환원적 환경(reducing environment)에 놓이게 되면 리포솜 이중층 막에 삽입되어 있는 소수성 이황화물이 씨올(thiol)화합물로 환원되어 황화합물의 극성(polarity)이 변화되고, 그 결과로 리포솜 막에서 황화합물의 배향 변화로 인하여 리포솜 막이 요동되어 탑재된 내용물 방출이 촉진되는 특징이 있다.
