A transurethral catheter kit comprising a catheter (2) and a syringe assembly (3), the catheter having a distal end (4) and a proximal end (5), an inflatable balloon (6) disposed at the distal end, an inflation lumen with a proximal portion adapted to establish fluid communication with the syringe assembly (3) and a distal end in fluid communication with the balloon, and a drain lumen adapted to drain fluid from the bladder during use, having the syringe assembly a syringe and a nozzle (11), the nozzle comprising a pressure relief valve (9) adapted to expel fluid from the syringe assembly when the pressure in the fluid reaches a threshold pressure, characterized in that the nozzle further comprises a narrow hole (12) of 0.04 mm2 to 0.06 mm2 of cross-sectional area disposed in the nozzle next to the pressure relief valve.Un kit de catéter transuretral que comprende un catéter (2) y un conjunto (3) de jeringa, teniendo el catéter un extremo distal (4) y un extremo proximal (5), un globo inflable (6) dispuesto en el extremo distal, un lumen de inflado con una porción proximal adaptada para establecer comunicación fluida con el conjunto (3) de jeringa y un extremo distal en comunicación fluida con el globo, y un lumen de drenaje adaptado para drenar fluido de la vejiga durante su uso, teniendo el conjunto de jeringa una jeringa y una boquilla (11), la boquilla comprendiendo una válvula (9) de alivio de presión adaptada para expulsar fluido del conjunto de jeringa cuando la presión en el fluido alcanza una presión de umbral, caracterizado porque la boquilla comprende adicionalmente un agujero estrecho (12) de 0,04 mm2 a 0,06 mm2 de área de corte transversal dispuesto en la boquilla próxima a la válvula de alivio de presión.
