PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener of a fishing line in which the connection and fixing can be easily made even if the fishing line is thin, and it is provided at a low cost.SOLUTION: A fastener of a fishing line is characterized as follows: a minor axis (a) of 1-1.4 times of diameter of an inserting fishing line and a major axis b of 2 times or more of the diameter are provided； an insertion hole 11 with a cross-sectional shape being an elliptical form or an oval shape is included along a central line of a maternal body 10； tip sides of two fishing lines 70 and 80 are inserted from both end sides of the insertion hole 11, respectively； knots 70a and 80a with the diameter larger than the minor axis (a) are formed in a portion appearing on the other side, respectively； thereby the two fishing lines 70 and 80 are connected or the tip side of one fishing line is inserted from one end side of the insertion hole 11 and extended from the other end side, and the knots are formed in a portion coming out in one end side after being inserted in the ring of an object and inserted into the other end side； and thereby one fishing line is fixed in the object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】釣糸の留め具について、細い釣糸であってもその接続や固定が容易に行えるものを低コストで提供する。【解決手段】挿通する釣糸の直径の１～１．４倍の短径ａとその直径の２倍以上の長径ｂを有して断面形状が楕円形又は長円形とされた挿通孔１１を母体１０の中心線に沿って備えており、２本の釣糸７０，８０の先端側をその挿通孔１１の両端側から各々挿入し反対側に出た部分に短径ａよりも大径の結び目７０ａ，８０ａを各々形成することでその２本の釣糸７０，８０を接続、又は１本の釣糸の先端側をその挿通孔１１の一端側から挿入して他端側から延出するとともに対象物のリングに挿通してから他端側に挿入して一端側に出た部分に結び目を形成することで１本の釣糸を対象物に固定する、ことを特徴とする。【選択図】図３
