The invention relates to the production of a pressure-sensitive adhesivecomposition polymerised entirely from acrylate-based monomers in a layerthicknessof about 250 µm and to the use thereof for adhesion to human skin. Theadhesivefilms thus produced adhere reliably to human skin, have high water-vapourpermeability despite the layer thickness, with the result that, for example,woundhealing is promoted, and even after a relatively long wearing period can beremovedfrom the skin again without leaving a residue and without damaging the skin.
