The present disclosure provides a door assembly for an animal enclosure (100). The assembly includes a door frame (110, 610) having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires that define an opening (204, 902) for an animal to pass therethrough. The assembly also includes a door (114, 614) configured to move between an open position and a close position relative to the door frame (110, 610). A latch (304, 616) is pivotably coupled to the door (114, 614) and includes a mechanism that is removably coupled to the door frame (110, 610). The assembly further includes a first vertical wire (230, 706) and a second vertical wire (244, 708) of the door (114, 614). A first guide wire (206, 718) and a second guide wire (208, 720) are coupled to the door frame (110, 610). The first vertical wire (230, 706) is coupled to and moves along the first guide wire (206, 718) between the open and close positions, and the second vertical wire (244, 708) is coupled to and moves along the second guide wire (208, 720) between the open and close positions.
