The system comprises a first component including a body extending from a proximal end to a distal end, the body including a first plurality of fiducial marks comprising fiducial marks along at least a portion of a longitudinal length between the proximal end and the distal end. The system also comprises a second component movably couplable with the first component, the second component including a second plurality of fiducial marks comprising height indicating fiducial marks along at least a portion of a longitudinal length and rotation indicating fiducial marks around a circumference of a portion of the second component. The system further comprises a computer system including memory, a processor, and a display. The memory containing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the computer system to display a virtual graphical representation of at least one of the first component and the second component overlaid on a medical image of the joint, the virtual graphical representation including virtual fiducial marks corresponding to at least a portion of the first plurality of fiducial marks or the second plurality of fiducial marks. 39
