An objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method for quickly and accurately reconstructing an original image. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for reconstructing an image comprises a step of acquiring n (n is a natural number greater than or equal to 2) frequency spectrum data sets so that an i^th (i is an integer greater than or equal to 0 and less than n) set among the frequency spectrum data sets corresponds to an i^th image among n original images to reconstruct the original images； a step of acquiring a feature dictionary which is a set of one or more filters indicating common features of the original images； a step of acquiring sparse code sets including one or more sparse codes for the original images so that an i^th set among the sparse code sets corresponds to the i^th image among the original images； and a step of using the feature dictionary and the sparse code sets to reconstruct the original images from the frequency spectrum data sets. The reconstructed original images can be determined to allow the sum of frequency conversion results of an i^th (i is an integer greater than or equal to 0 and less than n) image among the reconstructed original images and results of differences between the i^th sets among the frequency spectrum data sets obtained for each i to be less than a first constant.본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 영상 복원 방법은, n개(n는 2 이상의 자연수)의 원본 영상의 복원을 위해, n개의 주파수 스펙트럼 데이터 집합을, 상기 원본 영상 중 i(i는 0 이상 n 미만의 정수)번째 영상에 상기 주파수 스펙트럼 데이터 집합 중 i번째 집합이 대응되도록 획득하는 단계, 상기 원본 영상 각각의 공통적 특징을 나타내는 하나 이상의 필터의 집합인 특징 사전(dictionary)을 획득하는 단계, 하나 이상의 희소 코드(sparse code)를 포함하는 희소 코드 집합을, 상기 원본 영상 각각에 대하여 획득하되, 상기 원본 영상 중 i번째 영상에 상기 희소 코드 집합 중 i번째 집합이 대응되도록 획득하는 단계 및 상기 특징 사전 및 각각의 상기 희소 코드 집합을 이용하여, 상기 주파수 스펙트럼 데이터 집합으로부터 상기 원본 영상 각각을 복원하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 복원된 원본 영상은, 상기 복원된 원본 영상 중 i(i는 0 이상 n 미만의 정수)번째 영상의 주파수 변환 결과와, 상기 주파수 스펙트럼 데이터 집합 중 i번째 집합 간의 차이를, 각 i에 대하여 모두 구한 결과의 총합이, 소정의 제 1 상수 미만이 되도록 정해질 수 있다.
