PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer, a deodorization material, and a deodorization method capable of preventing a malodor due to ammonia, organic acid, fatty acid and sulfur compounds, etc., generated from human waste or the like, decomposing the malodor and continuously performing deodorization.
SOLUTION: The deodorizer composed of a microbial formulation containing at least one or more kinds of bacteria of genus Bacillus and a sulfonic acid type or sulfuric acid ester type anion surfactant capable of blocking urease activity is obtained. By using the deodorizer for which the agent is contained in a water-absorbent resin and/or water-absorbent pulp, the ammonia and the sulfur compounds, etc., are decomposed and deodorization is performed.
