An arthropod pest control composition according to the present invention comprises an amide compound represented by formula (1), at least one insect growth regulator compound selected from group (A) and at least one planthopper control compound selected from group (B), and has an excellent controlling effect on arthropod pests. Group (A): a group consisting of methoxyfenozide, chromafenozide and tebufenozide. Group (B): a group consisting of clothianidin, nitenpyram, buprofezin and ethiprole.本發明係關於含有本發明之式(1)所表示之醯胺化合物、以及選自組(A)中至少1種昆蟲成長控制化合物、以及選自組(B)中至少1種稻蝨類防除化合物之有害節肢動物防除組成物係對有害節肢動物具有優異的防除效力。組(A):滅芬諾(Methoxyfenozide)、可芬諾(Chromafenozide)及得芬諾(Tebufenozide)所成群。組(B):可尼丁(Clothianidin)、烯啶蟲胺(Nitenpyram)、布芬淨(Buprofezin)及乙蟲清(Ethiprole)所成群。
