The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a solid form of the gadobenate dimeglumine compound that essentially comprises obtaining a solution of the said compound in a suitable solvent A and adding, under stirring and appropriate temperature conditions, the said obtained solution in a suitable organic solvent B, acting as an appropriate antisolvent and favoring the formation and precipitation of solid particles of the complex compound that can be easily collected by filtration in high yields and in a reliable way.La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la préparation d'une forme solide du composé gadobénate de diméglumine qui comprend l'obtention d'une solution dudit composé dans un solvant approprié A, la quantité en poids de l'eau éventuellement présente dans la solution étant au plus égale ou inférieure à la quantité en poids du gadobénate de diméglumine compris dans la solution et l'addition de la solution obtenue à un solvant organique B, agissant comme un antisolvant approprié et favorisant la formation d'une forme solide du gadobénate de diméglumine qui peut être collecté par filtration.
