A trap for collecting live minnows, the live minnows having a height, the trap incorporating a case having a longitudinally opening longitudinal end a first plurality of minnow attracting mirrored plates a plurality of pivoting or fixed joints adapted for interconnecting first plurality of mirrored plates and the case, the joints positioning the first plurality of mirrored plates at the cases longitudinal end and further positioning the first plurality of mirrored plates to form at least a first inwardly extending funnel a battery powered electric torch alternatively actuated during daylight a transparent cannister adapted for interconnecting the electric torch and the case, the transparent cannister positioning the electric torch for casting light outwardly from the transparent case and a pair of suspension brackets connected operatively to the case.
