PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection device having flexibility in one direction.
SOLUTION: The device has a TFT array formed on a substrate 40, wherein one signal electrode is connected to pixels 50 arranged on a matrix for detecting a radiation transmitted through a subject and converting it into signal charge, and a signal wire 66 is connected to the other signal electrode, and a gate line 64 is connected to a gate electrode. The gate line 64 which is a narrow line is arrayed along a longitudinal direction y having flexibility, and the signal wire 66 which is a thick line is arrayed along a width direction x not having flexibility but having rigidity. The radiation detection device 11 constituted in this way has flexibility in the longitudinal direction y and has rigidity in the width direction x.
