PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper having fastening tapes which can be fixed laterally symmetrically without looking at them.SOLUTION: In the diaper, absorber 30 includes a recess 31 formed along the width direction of the absorption body 30 in a region overlapping a target tape 50. The recess 31 can be felt from the outside of the rear surface sheet of the diaper.
