PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for transfer which can easily transfer a person in need of nursing care, and the person in need of nursing care can operate by himself or herself, and which can be used even in s narrow place.SOLUTION: A wheelchair for transfer 1 includes a movable undercarriage 10 and a seat base 20 fixed to the upper part of the undercarriage 10. The undercarriage 10 includes a pair of base frames 11 disposed in parallel with each other in a right-left direction at a predetermined interval in which front wheels 14 are fitted to the vicinity of the front end, and rear wheels 15 are fitted to the vicinity of the rear end, and base breadth support frames 12 disposed between the pair of the base frames 11 and fixed to the pair of the base frames 11. The seat base 20 includes a seat sheet 23 that rotates around the rotational axis that extends in a front-back direction in the lateral surface, and a backrest plate 25 disposed behind the seat sheet 23 that rotates around the rotational axis that extends in a front-back direction in the edge.
