PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and useful chair capable of smoothly executing lifting/lowering operation and reclining operation of a back and a seat without impairing rigidity despite a single actuator and, when backward reclining the back, appropriately avoiding its upper part from projecting rearward.SOLUTION: This chair is provided with the single actuator 5 provided in a fixed back part 1 and having an operating body 51 executing a prescribed reciprocating operation alone, and rigid bodies 6 having their one portions attached to the operation body 51 and the rigid body 6 is so constituted as to, when the operation body 51 moves in an upper part of a prescribed position, move its whole body in the prescribed direction along with the operation body 51 to liftingly drive the back 4 and the seat 3, when the operation body 51 lowers exceeding the prescribed position, swing the other portion in the direction (frontward) different from the prescribed direction to move the lower part of the seat 3 and the back 4, thereby executing the reclining operation interlocking the frontward movement of the seat 3 with the rearward movement of the back 4.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】1つのアクチュエータでも背座の昇降動作及びリクライニング動作を剛性を損なうことなくスムーズに実現することができ、背の後傾時にその上部が後方へ張り出すことも適切に回避できるようにした新規有用な椅子を提供する。【解決手段】固定背部1に設けられて所定の反復動作のみを行う作動体51を有する単一のアクチュエータ5と、作動体51に一部を取り付けられた剛体6とを具備し、この剛体6について、作動体51が所定位置よりも上方で動作する際は作動体51とともに全体が所定方向に移動して背4及び座3を昇降駆動するが、作動体51が所定位置を越えて降下する際は他の一部を前記所定方向とは異なる方向(前方)に揺動させて座3及び背4の下部を移動させ、これにより座3の前動と背4の後傾動作とが連動したリクライニング動作を行わせるように構成した。【選択図】図3
