PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of preventing the contact of a discharged body fluid and a skin of a wearer effectively.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: an absorbent article body having a sheet-like leakage prevention body and a sheet-like absorber a pair of left and right head part expansion bodies connected to the absorbent article body at the front end part and the rear end part and a canal sheet in which its left and right edge parts are connected to the head part expansion bodies. The canal sheet is configured to be suspended in a convex shape to the lower side of the head part expansion bodies, and a valley-shaped three-dimensional body fluid reception canal is formed. At a crotch part, the absorber forms a downward convex shape. At the crotch part, the absorbent article has a bottom face connection part where the surface of the absorbent article body and a portion of the canal sheet which corresponds to the lower surface of the bottom face of the body fluid reception canal are connected. Also, at the crotch part, the absorbent article has a side face connection part where the surface of the absorbent article body and a portion of the canal sheet which corresponds to the outside of the left and right side faces of the body fluid reception canal are connected. The valley-shaped three-dimensional shape of the body fluid reception canal is held stably.
