PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent due condensation from being generated in an apparatus, while suppressing the amount of power to be consumed during a period when the MRI apparatus is not operated.

SOLUTION: While a power source of the MRI apparatus 100 is turned on, a cooling water distributing part 11 distributes cooling water respectively to a freezing machine 10, a gradient coil 2, a gradient magnetic field power source 5, and a transmitting part 6. When the on-state of the power source of the MRI apparatus 100 is changed to the off-state, the cooling water distributing part 11 stops the distribution of the cooling water to the gradient coil 2, the gradient magnetic field power source 5, and the transmitting part 6.
