The present invention provides for a novel multipurpose balloon catheter device for treatment of sidewall intracranial aneurysms. The balloon catheter is coated with hydrophilic coating and has triple ports- one side port for inflation and deflation of the side balloon, other side port for coiling and the central port for navigation. The balloon is having plurality of ports. Both ends of balloon has radio- opaque markers which can be precisely placed in the desired location. Here balloon inflation causes inflation of balloon in half circumferential or semilunar pattern causing deflection of the catheter to opposite side facilitating the side port noose to project into the aneurysm and help in coiling.
