A method for diagnosing a fetal autonomic nervous system and a cardiac activity status according to the present invention comprises the steps of: acquiring a raw signal from the abdomen of a pregnant woman using an electrocardiograph, the raw signal comprising a mixture of the electrocardiogram and electromyogram of the pregnant woman and the electrocardiogram and electromyogram of the fetus; separating the acquired raw signal into individual signals regarding the electrocardiogram and electromyogram of the pregnant woman and the electrocardiogram and electromyogram of the fetus, respectively, and removing the electrocardiogram and electromyogram of the pregnant woman from the separated signal; extracting a fetal signal by obtaining the difference between the raw signal and the signal from which the electrocardiogram and electromyogram of the pregnant woman have been removed; acquiring and separating the signal regarding the electrocardiogram and electromyogram of the fetus from the extracted fetal signal; measuring the R-R peak from the fetal electrocardiogram during a normal time on the basis of the acquired fetal electrocardiogram and calculating the fetal heart rate and the fetal heart rate variability; recording the electrocardiogram from a fetal movement detection time on the basis of the acquired fetal electromyogram signal, measuring the R-R peak from the electrocardiogram after the fetal movement detection time, and calculating the fetal heart rate and the fetal heart rate variability; and diagnosing the fetal autonomic nervous system reaction and cardiac activity through analysis of the calculated fetal heart rate during a normal time, the fetal heart rate after the fetal movement detection, the fetal heart rate variability during a normal time, and the fetal heart rate variability after the fetal movement detection.
