Provided are an apparatus and a method for adjusting a torque pattern, which enable a user himself or herself or an expert in a rehabilitation and medical field to intuitively adjust a pattern of a force or a torque applied to the joint of the user for providing an optimized exercise aid pattern. A torque pattern adjustment apparatus includes: a display unit displaying a first torque pattern corresponding to a gait cycle； and a generation unit generating a second torque pattern by adjusting at least a portion of the first torque pattern based on the reception of an input from the user.
