PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device-to-device connection confirmation support system, a web server device and a device-to-device connection confirmation method, whereby, in confirming the connection between a medical image diagnostic device and a peripheral device different in manufacturer from each other, it is possible to select information suitable for the peripheral device from enormous information without directly connecting both devices under various restraints to confirm the connection.SOLUTION: A device-to-device connection confirmation support system includes: a medical image diagnostic device for generating a medical image related to a subject and generating connection confirmation support information used by a device as a connection destination in confirming the connection； a peripheral device connected to the medical image diagnostic device through a communication network to handle a medical image generated by the medical image diagnostic device； and a web server device for recording connection confirmation support information generated by the medical image diagnostic device. The peripheral device confirms the connection to the medical image device using the connection confirmation support information obtained from the web server device.【課題】互いに製造元が異なる医用画像診断装置と周辺機器との接続確認に当たって、様々な制約下においても両装置を直接接続せずとも膨大な情報の中から周辺機器にとって適切な情報を取捨選択し接続確認が可能な装置間接続確認支援システム、ウエブサーバ装置及び装置間接続確認方法を提供する。【解決手段】被検体に係る医用画像を生成するとともに、接続先となる装置がその接続確認の際に利用する接続確認支援情報を生成する医用画像診断装置と、通信ネットワークを介して医用画像診断装置と接続され、医用画像診断装置が生成した医用画像を扱う周辺機器と、医用画像診断装置により生成された接続確認支援情報を記録するウエブサーバ装置と、を備え、周辺機器は、ウエブサーバ装置から取得した接続確認支援情報を用いて医用画像装置との接続確認を行う。【選択図】図３
