PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic film and a multilayer structure excellent in gas barrier property under a high-humidity condition.SOLUTION: The inorganic film contains an inorganic lamellar compound and a resin. A cross-sectional observation image of the inorganic film including a thickness direction of the film with a transmission electron microscope is analyzed in such a manner that: the observation image is processed into a grayscale image and classified into 256 levels of the grayscale； then straight lines are drawn over any five or more points in the processed observation image, each line parallel to the thickness direction of the inorganic film, from one surface of the inorganic film to the other surface； and the image is analyzed along each straight line to obtain a frequency distribution of the grayscale levels. The average of standard deviations in the obtained frequency distributions is 15 or less.
