PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy estimation of the state of a person.SOLUTION: The measuring device 1 includes a pressure detection unit 1b, a determination unit 1c, and an estimation unit 1d. The pressure detection unit 1b detects pressure. The determination unit 1c determines whether or not a person is in contact with the pressure detection unit 1b based on the shape and/or size of an area to which the detected pressure is applied.
