PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the quantity of the illumination light to a subject by effectively putting the light applied to an illumination substrate to practical use for the illumination of the subject.
SOLUTION: A capsule-type medical treatment device 1 includes an illumination part 3 equipped with light emitting parts 3a and 3c for emitting illumination light, the object optical system 6 inserted in the illumination substrate 3e on which the light emitting parts 3a and 3c are mounted, the reflection parts 4a and 4c provided at a position provided within the mounting surface of the illumination substrate 3e and spaced apart from the object optical system 6 over the spaced-apart distance or above between the object optical system 6 and the light emitting parts 3a and 3c and an imaging part 7. The illumination part 3 emits illumination light to the subject of the imaging part 7 and the reflection parts 4a and 4c reflect the light applied to the illumination substrate 3e to the subject of the imaging part 7. The object optical system 6 condenses the reflected light from the subject, which is illuminated by the illumination light of the illumination part 3 and the reflected light of the reflection parts 4a and 4c, to the light receiving surface of the imaging part 7. The imaging part 7 takes the image of the subject (the intracorporeal image of the subject) on the basis of the light condensed by the object optical system 6.
