The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a patient-specific contact pad, and to a contact pad. More specifically, the present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a contact pad (gel pad) that is arranged on a part to be treated, which is a part of an outer surface of a patient, and that is in contact with an ultrasound probe during a scan operation. The manufacturing method of the present invention comprises the following steps of: a) acquiring a mold shape for manufacturing a contact pad, including an outer shape corresponding to a part to be treated b) manufacturing a mold having an outer surface corresponding to the part to be treated of the patient by using the mold shape for manufacturing a contact pad and c) manufacturing a contact pad by forming a pad main body from the mold.
