PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion appliance for an intraocular lens, which is capable of smoothly extruding a preloaded lens.SOLUTION: This insertion appliance 1 of the intraocular lens is provided with: a body having a lens loading section 8 for loading the lens 2, a transition section for deforming the lens 2, and a nozzle section 11 releasing the lens 2 and a lens extrusion mechanism 4 extruding the lens 2 loaded in the lens loading section 8. This appliance is further provided with a release means 11 separating the lens 2 pushed by the lens extrusion mechanism 4 from the lens loading section 8. The release means 11 has an attitude retaining stand 12 forward tilting the lens 2 relative to a lens advancing axis A and retaining it.
