PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and rapidly correct a defective pixel even in a case that sampling frequency is not an integral multiple with respect to the frequency of a Moire fringe.SOLUTION: The positions of the peripheral pixels arranged on the positive side in the x-direction crossing a grid fringe at a right angle are set to x1, x2, ..., xi while the positions of the peripheral pixels arranged in the negative side in the x-direction are set to x-1, x-2, ..., x-i on the basis of the position x0 of the defective pixel related to the x-direction and the correction value P(x0) of the defective pixel is calculated to perform correction.
