PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel agricultural and gardening pesticides to solve the problem of still heavy damage from insect pests etc. in crop production in agriculture, gardening etc. and the problem of appearance of insect pests resistant to existing chemicals etc.SOLUTION: There are provided agricultural and gardening pesticides containing, as active ingredients, condensed heterocyclic compounds represented by the general formula (1) in the figure or salts thereof. Also provided are methods of using the pesticides.
