PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for raising seedling of a taproot tree whose root (taproot) is hard to cause looping when raising the seedling, and to provide a fix-planting method for a taproot tree by which collapse of mountains due to rainfall or the like hardly causes, and fix-planting work is facilitated.SOLUTION: The method for raising seedling of a taproot tree includes using a pot P which upwardly opens, is gradually reduced in its diameter toward the lower end side from the upper end side and is made of biodegradable nonwoven cloth 1. At the lower end part of the pot P, a through-hole 3 is made so as to let the taproot extend downward along with the growth of the taproot tree so as to project from the pot P, to hold the pot P in the air to raise the seedling of the taproot tree via elevated cultivation so as to make the projecting part of the downwardly extending taproot through the through-hole 3 come in contact with the outside air to be dried to die.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】育苗の際に根(直根)がルーピングしにくい直根性樹木の育苗方法を提供することを目的とする。また、降雨等による山の崩壊を発生しにくくすることができるとともに定植作業が容易な直根性樹木の定植方法を提供することも目的とする。【解決手段】上方に向けて開口するとともに上端側から下端側に向かって徐々に縮径する、生分解性の不織布1からなるポットPを用いて直根性樹木を育苗する方法であって、ポットPの下端部には、直根性樹木の成長に伴って下方に伸びた直根がポットPから突出するように貫通孔3が設けられており、ポットPを空中で支持して直根性樹木を高設栽培により育苗することによって、下方に伸びた直根のうち貫通孔3から突出した部分を外気に接触させて水分供給を断ち枯死させることを特徴とする、直根性樹木の育苗方法とした。【選択図】図1
